 ProEssentials v9 Help

Common Question 24

How do I create a Stacked Bar/Area chart?

See example 010 in the demo.

To summarize, set ...

NoStackedData to FALSE, and

PlottingMethod to one of the stacked type plotting methods.

The default state of NoStackedData is TRUE so by default, stacked style charts are not possible. Enabling stacked data will tell ProEssentials to accumulate the total of all subsets on a per point basis. This allows ProEssentials to determine the max stacked scale and create the stacked percentage type charts.

Note that if using MultiAxesSubsets, that only one axis can contain a stacked type chart.

Note that if trying to set the stacked y axis scale manually, there are special properties of ManualStackedMaxY and ManualStackedMinY.
